This policy covers the 75 Day: Challenge Tracker app for iOS and Android ("the app"). The app is published by SummationWorks ("we", "our" or "us"), which is the controller of the personal data described here. Our website is covered by our main Privacy Policy.
1. What Stays on Your Device
The app works without an account. Everything you record in it is stored only in the app's private storage on your device, and we never upload it:
- your challenges and daily task ticks
- your water, pages and workout logs
- your diet notes and reading titles
- your progress photos
A progress photo leaves your device only when you choose to share it through the system share sheet. Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device: the app uses no push service and no push token.
2. Permissions
The app may ask for the permissions below. All of them are optional, and you can change them at any time in your device's settings.
- Camera: To take progress photos in the app.
- Photos: To pick a progress photo or save one, only when you choose to.
- Notifications: To show your reminders, which are scheduled on your device.
3. Information We Collect
To run and improve the app we collect the information below. None of it includes your name, email address or contact details, and it is not linked to your identity.
- Install ID: A random identifier generated when the app is first installed. We use it as the identity for analytics and as the anonymous identity for purchases with RevenueCat. It is not tied to your name, email address, Apple ID or Google account. Settings → Erase all data deletes your local data and creates a new install ID.
- App usage events: For example app opened, onboarding completed, task completed, day completed, paywall shown, and purchase started, completed, failed or restored. Events carry properties such as the day number, the challenge preset, your plan (free or premium), the app version and the platform. We never send your photos, notes, reading titles or any free text, and we do not send workout durations or water amounts.
- Device and app information: Device model, operating-system version, app version, language, and an approximate location (country or region) that Google Analytics derives from your IP address. We do not store IP addresses, and IP geolocation is turned off in Mixpanel.
- Crash reports and diagnostics: When the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics records the stack trace and the state of the device at the time of the crash.
- Purchase history: Whether you bought the one-time Lifetime Unlock, the product, its price and currency, and the store's transaction identifiers. RevenueCat processes this to validate your purchase and to restore it. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google; we never receive your card details.
- Remote configuration: The app requests its settings, such as the number of free days, from Firebase Remote Config.
4. How We Use Information
- App functionality: Restoring purchases, unlocking content and fixing crashes.
- Analytics: Understanding which features are used, so we can improve the app.
We do not use your information for advertising. The app shows no ads and uses no advertising identifiers (no IDFA and no Android Advertising ID), it does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell or share your personal data for advertising.
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, our legal bases are our legitimate interests for analytics and crash reporting, and the performance of a contract for purchases.
5. Service Providers
We use the service providers below. Google, Mixpanel and RevenueCat process data on our behalf to provide their services to us; Apple and Google Play process your payment. Each is governed by its own privacy policy.
- Google — Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase), Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Remote Config. Google Privacy PolicyFirebase privacy information
- Mixpanel — Product analytics. Data is stored in the EU (Mixpanel EU data residency). Mixpanel Privacy Policy
- RevenueCat — Purchase validation and restore. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
- Apple App Store and Google Play — Payments. Apple Privacy PolicyGoogle Privacy Policy
6. International Transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, for example in the United States for Google and RevenueCat. Such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Data Retention
- Usage analytics: Kept only as long as we need them to understand and improve the app, then deleted or aggregated.
- Google Analytics event data: Follows the retention period set in our Google Analytics property.
- Crash reports: Kept by Crashlytics for its standard retention period.
- Purchase records: Kept as long as needed for accounting and to restore your purchases.
8. Your Choices and Rights
- Erase your data: Delete all on-device data at any time with Settings → Erase all data. This also resets your install ID.
- Access and deletion: Because there is no account and we hold no contact details, we cannot identify you from server-side analytics on our own. To request access to your data or its deletion, email hello@summationworks.com and include your Support ID (in the app: Settings → Support ID), so we can locate and delete the analytics and purchase records associated with it.
- EEA and UK: You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
- California residents: We do not sell or share your personal information.
9. Children's Privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes to This Policy
When our practices change, we will update this page and its effective date.
