The Challenge
A restaurant chain with 8 locations was paying 30% commission on every delivery order through third-party apps. At $50k/month in delivery revenue, they were losing $15k/month to platform fees. They wanted their own branded app with ordering, delivery tracking, and loyalty rewards — without the middleman.
Our Approach
How We Built It
Analyzed the existing ordering workflow and identified features needed for parity with delivery apps
Built a Flutter app with restaurant menu browsing, cart, and Stripe checkout
Created a Laravel backend with admin panel for menu management and order processing
Implemented real-time order tracking with push notifications for order status updates
Added a loyalty points system to incentivize direct ordering over third-party apps
Handled App Store and Play Store submission including screenshots and compliance review
